Two-day workshop on Personas
Personas is an increasingly popular method for making user data an active part of the design process. Personas are concise portraits of the most important users of your product, and of the personal goals and values that determine the use of the product. Personas are simultaneously a qualitative market analysis and a means for communicating the detailed needs of real users to the development organisation. They also work as a design tools for illustrating and advocating user needs in the design process.
We have invited one of the leading capacities from the Danish Dogma-film universe for the workshop, Mogens Rukov. Rukov has written the manuscript for several Dogma-films and he will kick off the workshop by teaching us his proven techniques for constructing a convincing character in a narrative. He will also give us critical feedback on the personas that we will develop in a series of team exercises. Thus the workshop will focus on how to construct convincing and captivating portraits of users after the initial collection of user data.
The workshop will include 16 participants at the most and the fee will be 675 Euros. Invitations are posted in Denmark, Sweden and England.
